Finally! After Waiting Five Years!
A SPANISH Walking in Faith Book!
I am so excited! My publisher, Declaration Publishers, had just
delivered thousands of copies of my first book Walking in Faith. Now
this is Walking in Faith's twelfth printing, but what is different
about THIS delivery is that it included Walking in Faith books - in the
Spanish language!
We have been patiently standing and believing for nearly five years for
this day to arrive and for Walking in Faith to bring faith and healing
to the Spanish speaking world.
According to statistics, more than 414 million people in the world
speak only the Spanish language. Tim Greenwood Ministries has already
sent or given more than 75,000 copies of the English version of Walking
in Faith, in most cases free and postage paid, to folks in more than
200 nations of the world. But this new Spanish version really opens up
the opportunity to spread the gospel of faith and healing to so many
more.
Something that we have done from the first printing is to anoint the
books with oil and prayerfully transfer a tangible anointing to them so
that they may also be used like the Apostle Paul's anointed cloths. We
have received many testimonies of people being healed, delivered, and
experiencing peace after having the book physically laid upon them or
laying upon the book.
If you have family or friends who need to receive healing and only read
the Spanish language, order them a FREE copy of Walking in Faith in the
Spanish language today, from the TGM Resource Center:

What Do You Fear?
by Nancy Smith
|
What
do you fear? Considering all the frightening events going on in the
world, an easier question to answer would be "what don't I fear". The
struggling economy, violent crimes, widespread hunger and wars (or
rumors of them) take up the vast majority of media time/space.
Families struggle to keep their loved ones in food, clothing and
shelter, and the load becomes overwhelming, so people seek solace. In
record numbers people seek relief through anti-anxiety medicines,
psychiatric care or alcohol. Those things may dull the anxiety for a
little while but they don't - and can't - deal with and solve the
problem.
Even children are plagued with fear and anxiety. Growing up, I cut my
teeth on fear. "Don't go in the street - a car will hit you", "If you
don't behave, the boogey man will get you". But when I became part of
the grown-up world, other fears became part and parcel of my thinking -
like making the rent, paying the doctor bill, or having plenty of food
in the house.
All manner of fears took up residence in my mind and emotions until I
became a world-class worrier. And there was always something to worry
about! Even though I considered myself a Christian during my young
adult life, I hadn't a clue that God's Word has so much to say about
fear. The word "fear" occurs about 400 times in the King James
Version. The book of Psalms contains about 60 verses concerning
the subject - and holds an important key to conquering fear.
There are several different words translated "fear", many of which
refer to dread, fright and anxiety. But the "fear" Christians should
experience is a reverent awe of our God.
When we accept Jesus as our Savior, and submit ourselves to the Lord,
we begin to move inside the refuge He has prepared for those who love
Him. David said in Psalm 27 "The Lord.is my salvation, whom shall I
fear?"
Know this - it is not God's plan that His family go without. See 3 John
1:2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in
health, even as thy soul prospers".
Jeremiah 29:11 (New International version) says "For I know the plans I
have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give
you hope and a future." NOT fearing requires a conscious, firm decision
to turn from negative confessions ("I can't _____") and it requires a
positive, ongoing and loving relationship with God. Under our own
power, we likely won't accomplish the great things our Father has
planned for us.
But when our spirits are submitted to God's Holy Spirit, we learn that
"all things are possible". How so? Before Jesus rejoined His Father in
the heavenlies, He imbued His followers with His own authority. Luke
10:19 tells us "I have given you authority .. to overcome all the power
of the enemy; nothing will harm you."
The devil's favorite thing is to steal, kill and destroy everything
that belongs to us. God's favorite thing is to bless His children, and
hear their thankful praise in return. He has provided weapons of
defense against the devil who is responsible for all the anxiety of
this world. He has provided the authority of Jesus' name, and His
strength and protection for those who call upon Him and use His weapons.
We don't have to fear poverty, disease, war, or even death. Jesus has
already won every battle and taken away Satan's keys. What we need to
do is call in faith upon Him, praise and worship Him daily - and fear
not. TGM
